The upcoming 20th International Exhibition of Auto Parts, Accessories, and Assemblies is set to take place from May 29 to June 1, 2025, at Tehran’s Permanent International Fairgrounds. This event is a significant milestone in the auto industry, showcasing the latest innovations and fostering international collaborations.

According to Sadif Beikzadeh, the head of the Iran International Exhibitions Company, this exhibition ranks among the top three in the country, both in terms of participation and visitor interest. During a recent press conference, he shared several key details about the upcoming event:

  • Over 700 foreign companies from nine different countries will participate.
  • Approximately 500 domestic companies are expected to showcase their products.
  • Special halls will be dedicated to knowledge-based and innovative companies.

Beikzadeh emphasized the importance of leveraging export markets, particularly within the BRICS nations and Eurasia, to achieve Iran’s ambitious goal of an 8% economic growth as outlined in the Seventh Development Plan. He stated, “To achieve 23% growth in exports, various sub-sectors in the fields of industry, mining, agriculture, and others have been considered in the Seventh Development Plan.”

He further explained, “The automotive industry was one of the main targets of sanctions against Iran, alongside steel, petrochemicals, and other sectors.” The automotive sector is crucial for Iran’s economy as it significantly impacts employment and the growth of other industries.

Seyyed Ahmad Hosseini, the head of the Tehran Auto Parts Manufacturers Association, echoed Beikzadeh’s sentiments, stating, “A policy council has been formed to promote transparency and quality improvement for the 20th International Exhibition of Auto Parts, Accessories, and Assemblies.”

Additionally, Mohammadreza Najafi-Manesh, president of the Association of Homogeneous Powertrain Industries and Parts Manufacturers, highlighted the importance of attracting specific customers from African and Asian countries, including Uzbekistan and Russia. He noted, “Many countries, including Uzbekistan, are seeking to increase production volumes and are ready to invest in the field of parts manufacturing.”

Najafi-Manesh called for initiatives to facilitate exports, stating, “We should utilize exhibitions as an export base. Many foreign companies seek imports during their visits to exhibitions, and we must leverage this opportunity for exports.”

Discussing the overarching goals of the exhibition, Ali Mohtasham Amiri, the exhibition organizer and CEO of Miladnoor complex, outlined several objectives:

  1. Attracting foreign investments.
  2. Strengthening the supply chain.
  3. Introducing the achievements and capacities of domestic factories and companies.

  6. Showcasing the latest developments, achievements, and new technologies in the industry.
  7. Establishing new business relationships.
  8. Transferring knowledge, technology, and successful global experiences.

This exhibition is poised to be a pivotal event for the automotive industry in Iran, helping to foster growth, innovation, and international partnerships.
