In a significant gathering highlighting the ongoing struggles faced by Palestinians, the virtual international conference titled “Palestine: From the Nakba to the Flood – The Importance of the Role of the Palestinian Resistance in Preventing Displacement” took place in Sana’a on Sunday. This event drew the attention of officials, diplomats, and over 50 researchers and academics from various nations, emphasizing the critical need for international solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Moaz Abu Shamala, a representative of Hamas in Sana’a, shared insights on the Israeli regime’s procrastination in executing the ceasefire agreement, attributing it to their manipulation of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He stated that the Zionist authorities are deliberately obstructing humanitarian aid from reaching the people of Gaza, with tacit support from the United States.

Abu Shamala stressed the importance of Palestinian unity and firmly opposed the presence of foreign military forces in Gaza. He urged conference participants to vocally reject the displacement of Palestinian people from Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing that such actions would only serve to strengthen Israeli control over Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian territories.
