The Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) is emerging as a pivotal framework for fostering robust connections among Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Iran’s commitment to this initiative was strongly emphasized by Farzaneh Sadegh, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, during the recent TRACECA intergovernmental commission meeting held in Tehran.

“Over the past years, our collaboration has shown that this organization can serve as a cornerstone for strengthening close relations between Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and beyond, and Iran is fully committed to supporting this valuable framework,” Sadegh stated.

The meeting provided a significant opportunity to:

  • Enhance regional cooperation
  • Advance common goals
  • Promote communication, trade, and economic development among member states

On the sidelines of the event, Asset Assavbayev, the Secretary-General of TRACECA, expressed gratitude to Tehran for hosting the meeting. He acknowledged Iran as an essential link that connects member states to the Persian Gulf.

Assavbayev voiced optimism that Iran’s forthcoming one-year presidency of TRACECA will facilitate smoother transit and trade among the participating nations.

  • Iran’s Bold Retaliation Devastates Israel’s Military Strength

Brigadier General Fathollah Jafari has revealed that the Israeli regime has suffered greater losses than officially reported, emphasizing the destruction of its operational capacity. Following an Israeli attack on June 13 that killed senior Iranian figures, Iran retaliated within 24 hours with a missile and drone barrage.
